The Towbar2u Franchise Business was founded by Stephen Sims, a motor dealer in Darlington, County Durham with over 35 years experience in the motor industry. Just over 2 years ago Stephen spotted a gap in the market, mobile tow bar fitting, an opportunity to supply and fit tow bars for all makes of vehicles carried out at the customers residence or work place. He has now successfully capitalized on the idea fitting upwards of 100 tow bars a month in and around the local area.
Convenience and competitiveness are the key elements of the success, coupled with quality Tow Bars and a very fast and friendly service.
A TRIED & TESTED BUSINESS SYSTEM
As a Towbar2U franchisee you would be buying the rights to use the 'Trade Mark' and tried & tested business systems of the Franchisor, in a specified exclusive territory over the period of a franchise agreement. There is usually far less risk in buying a franchise as apposed to 'going it alone', with a
franchisee following the proven path of the franchisor who has already ironed out all the pit-falls of the programme. There are many advantages with franchising, for example, most banks recognise they face less risk in lending to Franchisees. They often lend on a ratio of 2:1 rather than their normal 1:1 ratio. Franchisees also benefit strongly from the Franchisors valuable brand name, marketing and reputation.
Franchise Training & Support
Comprehensive training and support will be provided, however, as a franchisee you must be totally committed to ensuring you provide the best possible service in your territory.
The franchisee systems and reporting have been designed to take up a minimal amount of the franchisees time so that their full time and attention can be devoted to servicing the market place.

• Full launch support and help planning your local marketing campaign relevant to your own capabilities and aspirations.
• Help and advice on business funding, producing a business plan and introduction to bank/finance personnel.
• Inclusion in the 'TOWBAR2U' national website to generate sales.

1 We will help you plan your marketing campaign to build your business. The speed of your growth would be dependant on this essential strategy. These costs vary nationally and would be discussed at the initial meetings. Cash flow forecasts will also be available. 2 You should also discuss the franchise agreement with a solicitor.

3 'TOWBAR2U' is a van based franchise. We source a fully liveried van* and can arrange the finance accordingly. The minimum deposit would be £1,049. 4 General 'out-of-pocket' expenses during set-up. 5 Starter kit of electrical connectors, wiring etc to be used on towbar installation.
