The business was started when Ailsa herself wanted to go away but was reluctant to leave her two miniature dachshunds in kennels and cause them undue stress. She realised there was a niche in the market that had not yet been met. And so Creature Comforts was formed, providing a friendly and reliable service to dog owners by placing their dog with a loving host family whilst they are away from home.
The business was an instant success and gave dog owners a new lease of life as many had not been away for years. The aim of the Creature Comforts franchise is to provide a personal and loving environment for dogs, caring for the dog as your own and keeping the disruption of their routine to a minimum making their stay as enjoyable as possible.
