Retail Franchise, Cash Generator.  Following the successful opening of the first company owned Express store in Stretford in Manchester late last year, the concept was introduced to Cash Generator franchisees.

With one franchisee, Mike Ashwin, immediately seeing its potential. Mike has opened the first franchisee owned Express store in Stetchford, Birmingham, and Cash Generator is now gearing up to roll out the concept across the UK. Offering convenience for consumers seven days a week, every week of the year, Cash Generator Express stores are located on busy arterial routes, combining high visibility for motorists and easy access for local residents.

Cash Generators managing director, Julian Urry, comments, We are delighted with the early success of our out of town Express stores in both Manchester and Birmingham. Both are performing ahead of budget and we are excited about the future growth they can offer the company.

Traditionally Cash Generator has focused on high street stores however customer feedback revealed that convenience was a priority. In order to respond to this growing consumer demand we created the Express concept and firmly believe that it is an avenue that offers great potential. In 2010 Cash Generator will open up two additional company owned Express stores. Julian concludes, The out of town Express store is a new and exciting development and we are confident that the concept will appeal to franchisees, just as it did Mike Ashwin. We expect other franchisees to express a keen interest in opening a similar store and that other franchisors will quickly follow our example.
