Auditel Affiliate Ian Lessen hits half a million pounds Many congratulations to Ian Lessen who has recently hit a half million pound worth of billings as a sole practitioner Affiliate. Over the past six years Ian has worked as a consultant within the Auditel franchise network helping companies enhance their profits by managing their essential costs. His clients include organisations from a variety of sectors including manufacturing, media, property development, housing associations, leisure, education, residential homes and charities.

All have benefited through their association with Ian and Auditels unique Total Cost of Purchase Model which lowers the cost of doing business. Ian is a qualified accountant and holds an MBA from one of the UKs leading business schools. He is married with two children and lives near Tunbridge Wells. Before joining Auditel, Ian held senior management positions, mostly at Finance Director level, for Superdrug, Pearl Vision Centre, Dyno Rod and a large retail and printing group in Zambia. Then for many years he was Finance Director for Gemini Consulting (part of the Cap Gemini Ernst & Young group). Later he became Vice President European Operations of eLoyalty Co Inc., a US based eCRM consultancy. Thus much of Ians focus was in supporting revenue growth, but he also spent a great deal of his time in reviewing overheads and negotiating with suppliers of goods and services. He was also heavily involved in streamlining purchasing processes. This led naturally to his present role with Auditel, where he can concentrate his energy and experience in the much neglected area of cost management and improvement of services within the freedom of running his own consultancy business.

Among Ians successes are savings in excess of £200,000 for energy for a leading Trade Union, over £100,000 for telecommunications for a Housing Association and over £50,000 in energy for a well-known media company. Ian is also retained to support a number of his clients for energy and telecommunications. These clients include a major City law firm, several charities and some manufacturing companies. How does he do it? Well echoing Gary Players famous quote, The harder you work, the luckier you get. Ian confirms: Its down to hard work, focus, a great network of people and an awful lot of luck.
