New collection books added to Apollo Blinds range Apollo Blinds has added two new collections to its range of window blinds. Britains biggest blinds store chain has launched Pinoleum and Pleated collections to complement its ranges of Roller, Vertical and Venetian blinds. It is the first time the Apollo Blinds Franchise has had its own collection of Pinoleum blinds and the new Pleated book supersedes the previous version to include new ranges and fabrics. Introducing the new books helps extend the breadth of window blinds that the company offers and they are already being well received by the company’s franchisees who have Apollo Blinds showrooms across the UK.

Speaking on behalf of Hunter Douglas, the Dutch company which owns Apollo Blinds, Richard Greaves said he believes the introduction of the collection books further bolsters the companys position for offering the widest selection of quality window blinds in the UK and Ireland. The introduction of the Pinoleum and Pleated collections enables our franchisees to offer Apollo Blinds customers an enhanced level of choice, he said. It is important for the growth of the business that we are ahead of the game in terms of enhancing our ranges of blinds because that’s what our customers now expect of the new Apollo Blinds. Both ranges have been developed to offer householders a greater choice, especially for those looking for consistency throughout a house and are looking for blinds which are equally suitable for standard windows and conservatories.

The Pinoleum collection takes its inspiration from the south of France and has ranges including Cannes, Monte Carlo and St Tropez. They use different weave patterns of flat reeds to mix some of the natural and richer colours such as walnut to create stunning ranges. They can be used to create filters from the sun during the day and a nice cosy warm feeling at night. Performance is the watchword for the Pleated collection as ranges within the collection have specific blackout, dim-out, fire-retardant, insulation and reflective properties. It has taken more than 12 months work to develop the new collections and the new books have been specifically designed to incorporate new ranges as soon as they become available. Greaves is proud of the new books as they are yet another demonstration of the companys commitment to the vision of being Britain’s biggest blinds store chain after undergoing a complete rebrand so as to reposition itself in the marketplace a little over 18 months ago. The new collection books are another notable milestone for Apollo Blinds, especially in a period which has seen a lot of changes for the company, he said. The delivery of the new collection books has always been centred around the desire to give our network of franchisees the widest choice of the best quality blinds to help them generate sales which help them build profitable and prosperous businesses with Apollo Blinds. The books are being well received by franchisees and we look forward to healthy sales as a result.
